  Why was  October 7 inevitable ?   One word: Extortion By James Terminiello     It’s difficult now but if you run a web search to find images of the Gaza Str i p before the current war , you w ould encounter a  place of wrenching poverty ; decay ; and , until recently , qui e t despair .     As an economic entity Gaza could not and did not operate without funds injected from many sources including the U.S., some Arab nations, and, yes, Israel. Naturally, as with all aid from afar, too much of it finds its way into the wrong pockets most of the time. Guilty of Being a Parent By James Terminiello On Mother’s Day, my wife needed to visit a  local urge nt care clinic.  During her examination , she related to the attending physician the sad tale of our estrangement from our daughter. Before my wife could go  into any detail , the physician told her that she too was estranged from her daughter. What’s more:    She was accused of being a toxic narcissist. So were we.   She was told of past offenses she was never aware of. So were we.   She was convicted of things she never did. So wer e we .   Events were misinterpreted. Same here.   She felt like she was being lectured by a therapist, not talking to a daughter . We d etected the same canned textbook lingo. She was told she must apologize for all past offenses. Why do unqualified Democrats continue to win elections?

Unqualified Republicans Lose, Unqualified Democrats Win   B y J ames Terminiello   In a recent special U.S. House of Representatives election brought about by the disgrace of George Santos, the New York Republican Party fielded a candidate that their internal analytics told them was a sure-fire winner.  Mazi Pilip was:   A) A woman   B) African (in this case Ethiopean)   C) Jewish   D) Military (Served in the Israel Defense Force)    Why any of these points have more than a trivial relationship to her qualifications to be legislator seemed to be of little concern to the Republican wise ones. The electorate , however, disagreed and she was clobbered by a run-of-the-mill Democrat hack.   The Republicans seemed not to have learned from 2022 when they ran the fabulously underqualified Herschel Walker for senate apparently because he was black and a football player.  They also propped up Dr. Mehmet Oz for the senate on the grounds...
