Biden's Infirmities Are Not The Problem

Mocking The Infirmities of Politicians Debases Those Who Mock Them    By James Terminiello   Come now children, let's try to behave. Geez, I feel like I'm back in the third grade when I hear the critiques of presumed political pundits and commentators as they lacerate politicians clearly on the southern ends of their careers.  Mocking Biden, McConnell, Fetterman, and the recently deceased Diane Feinstein because of their mental and/or physical infirmities is the lowest form of political attack. And politics is already a vile and dirty business.    What is truly hurtful is that such behavior shows a mean spiritedness and, even worse, a lack of desire to hit these politicians where they can and should be hit - in their policies and political positions.  I don't care if they are potty and decrepit. I do care if where they stand is contrary to my beliefs and detrimental to my future. The field is wide open and gaping for criticism on that level. But to resort to below the

New Novel Pokes Fun At Woke America

Image
New Book Lacerates Mad Contemporary America By James Terminiello Satire should not just be the province of those with a left leaning perspective. In Junkyard  a  young man, Macklyn Farrago, ventures into an auto graveyard and encounters a strange elderly man, Mr. Abbas, who has built a most extraordinary vehicle – a composite of all vehicles from around the world designed symbolize something wonderful for humankind.  The trouble is… it doesn’t work .  Charmed, the young man attempts to get the depressed older man some publicity. In doing so, he inadvertently triggers a world-wide, semi-religious, semi-millennial craze over the old man, his creation, and his mission — fueled, coddled, manipulated, and magnified by the grasping media billionaire Sebastian El Dorado, fresh from launching a planetary fast food craze. Farrago and Abbas set out on a cross country quest to find a man, alien hunter Wyatt Avery Tontine now wracked with dementia, who may hold the answers for Abbas.  Dogged and h

Dick Cheney and Joe Biden - Two Blood Spattered VPs

Cheney and Biden – A Pair of Lethal Vice Presidents   By James Terminiello   Sadly, Americans suffer from acute political amnesia. As we head off into a feverish, ugly, and useless attempt to impeach and unseat Joe Biden for some shenanigans he clearly pulled as vice president, it would be well to remember another Veep who fired off some whoppers of his own while in office.    Dick Cheney, arguably the brains behind the George W. Bush administration, leveraged the 9/11 atrocity to get us involved in two long; pointless; expensive; and, of course, bloody wars. He hid behind an obviously impossible attempt at regime change and phantom weapons of mass destruction while giving his cronies a chance to make billions during our invasions and occupations of two nations who together could not take on Rhode Island. (Yes, Saddam Hussein had an armada of Soviet-era tanks that we blew out of the sand from long and safe distances)    Viewed in hindsight, what Cheney did was unconscionable .  And a

Kamela Harris is no longer an advantage for the Democrat Party

What Do Kamela Harris and a Bucket of Warm P*** Have in Common?     By James Terminiello   John Nance Garner III, one of Franklin Roosevelts' vice presidents, once rated his role in government as "not worth a bucket of warm piss". (1) This is not only a rather distastful assessment, it is  also dead wrong - as the Democrat Party must now realize .       When Joe Biden decided to save the political bacon of his party in their quest to unseat Donald Trump, he knew that he needed to add some youthful balance to his ticket. And there was Kamela Harris. True, she had run a rather lackluster campaign for the presidency and had done little to distinguish herself at the podium, but she possessed two things no other contender could muster. She was female and of a demographically useful ethnicity. Add to that, she was of multiple ethnicities. Bonus points for Harris.    The Democratic National Committee ran the analytics, and she became the choice.    Alas, her qualifications f
