Mocking The Infirmities of Politicians Debases Those Who Mock Them By James Terminiello Come now children, let's try to behave. Geez, I feel like I'm back in the third grade when I hear the critiques of presumed political pundits and commentators as they lacerate politicians clearly on the southern ends of their careers. Mocking Biden, McConnell, Fetterman, and the recently deceased Diane Feinstein because of their mental and/or physical infirmities is the lowest form of political attack. And politics is already a vile and dirty business. What is truly hurtful is that such behavior shows a mean spiritedness and, even worse, a lack of desire to hit these politicians where they can and should be hit - in their policies and political positions. I don't care if they are potty and decrepit. I do care if where they stand is contrary to my beliefs and detrimental to my future. The field is wide open and gaping for criticism on that level.
