Biden Doesn't Need NYC So The Illegal Alien Problem Will Fester

The train wreck that is the illegal alien (I refuse to call them migrants) tidal wave currently swamping New York City is a problem that was obvious from the start. Attempting to cram 100,000+ extra people into an already crowded, still hobbled by the pandemic, and voluptuously expensive city was sheer madness.  But one must not forget that politics beats reason ten out of nine times. (Politics has its own brand of mathematics you see) 


President Biden hung his hat on an open border policy and nothing as irritating as reality and reason is going to stop him. The President's dup in this matter is New York Mayor "Mumbles" Adams who band wagoned his way to office in part on the sanctuary city platform - fully expecting that he would be backed to the hilt by his fellow "sanctuarians" in DC. But while the illegal alien spigot remains wide open, the dollars from DC have dried up.  


Why? One would assume that like-minded politicos would support each other.


Biden uses the Congress as his whipping boy, pointing to them as the source of the financial dry-up. A great deflection but absolute nonsense when looked at in the light of reality.   In fact, once again politics comes into play. To put it bluntly, Biden doesn't need New York or Mayor Adams.  The Big Apple is more than a Democrat stronghold. It is locked in for the foreseeable future. It is so devoid of any effective opposition and so ingrained it its liberal politics that if a cancer-curing, budgeting-balancing, miracle-spewing, Second-Coming Messiah ran on the Republican ticket, he would be crucified (again!) in a general election.  Biden has already won New York City and it is not even 2024! 


So, the political logic goes, why should I send more funds to New York City when I already have them in my back pocket no matter what? Adams can twist in the wind for a while. The citizens of the city can suffer a bit more. The illegals (migrants in BidenSpeak) will just have to fend for themselves a little longer. If, down the road, it becomes politically expedient to inject some cash, (say as the 2024 election comes round) he might think about it.  


Of course, this puts a lie to Biden's sanctimonious drivel about opening our border for humanitarian reasons.  If he were a true humanitarian, the booty would be flowing to the Big Apple to be misspent at the discretion of Adams and his cronies. 


Then, if Biden is not in league with the angels, who is he serving? This list of contenders is huge and daunting. His Democrat Party would love a flood of illegals to vote their way and tip a few elections. Rules and law can just go off in a corner and sulk. There is nothing like an armada of exploitable workers to bring down the wages of Americans. Sex traffickers and drug dealers are always in the market for fresh, cheap, and pliable meat. And the bogus population boosters love to drone on about the need to buck up our sagging population. I'm sure you all believe that the U.S. is underpopulated.   


You can certainly think of a few other reasons to flood our states with undocumented, untested, underqualified, unmedicalized, and totally random people who could be saints, sinners, or anything in between.  


Amid all this murk, only one thing is clear: Biden's agenda has nothing to do the humanitarianism.
